Before Star Wars, Stargate was the love of my life. I grew up watching Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, and both shows affected me in positive ways, so that’s why they hold a special place in my heart. For others who adore Stargate as much as I do, now you can add a spinner ring and two fabulous necklaces to your geek jewelry collections!

Created by RockLove Jewelry, an independent New York City jewelry label, the Stargate jewelry is part of an official collaboration with MGM.

Stargate Sterling Spinner Ring

This ring may allow practical, rapid travel between two distant locations. Please let the rest of us fans know if it shortens commute time!

Hand cast in solid nickel-free sterling silver, the Stargate is composed of two separate components to allow the chevrons to really SPIN! Highly detailed on all surfaces, the outer ring is fully three dimensional with chevrons on both sides of the finger and architectural detailing on top. The inner ring is also double sided, comprised of an intricate set of screen-accurate glyphs. The entire piece is blackened and hand polished for maximum contrast with smooth comfort-fit inner band.

Stargate Brass Eye of Ra Necklace

Unearthed by Catherine Langford during her father’s 1928 Egyptian dig at the Giza Plateau, she carried it with her all her life.

Crafted in the same way as the original prop, the Eye of Ra Necklace is cast in solid brass and hand antiqued for contrast. A heavy but comfortable weight, the pendant spans an inch and a quarter in diameter with the Stargate name and logo etched on the reverse. Hangs from a unisex strand 21 inches long – the brass rondelles are genuine African trade beads, accented by exotic black coconut and turquoise gemstone heishi tube beads. Forged brass hook and eye clasp complete the regional and historical accuracy.

Stargate Antiquated Brass & Carnelian Dial Home Necklace

With two concentric circles of screen-accurate “keys” and deep red primary control crystal, this DHD Medallion is ready to take you anywhere in the universe!

A show-stopping statement necklace, two layers of intricate glyphs surround a focal 10mm carnelian gemstone. Cast in solid brass and hand antiqued, the pendant is weighty yet comfortable, spanning over an inch and a half in diameter . The reverse boasts the Stargate name and logo, and the entire piece hangs from a substantial 24 inch brass chain with forged S-hook closure.

Some of the concerns about the Spinner Ring that some fans have expressed are that the hieroglyph symbols are inaccurate. Personally, I can overlook it, since I’m more of a fan of the concept.

Another fan wrote, “RockLove Jewelry is always top notch on their quality and their style. I love sterling silver jewelry and this is a wonderful thing to add to my chic nerd closet. I own quite a few pieces by this designer that are both geeky and original and I have never been disappointed in the craftsmanship or the lasting quality of the items. It’s a beautiful thing to own for SG-1 fans. The fact that it actually spins is AMAZING and really thoughtful of the design. The stamping of the glyphs is nothing to snub your nose at especially when considering this isn’t a life size model or cast for mass production. This is a classy ring you can wear to any occasion that needs no extra embellishment to be gorgeous. Handmade with attention to detail is what RockLove is all about and this ring is no exception!”

Needless to say, I desperately need these in my collection! Find all three pieces at the, and you can also find the Spinner Ring at ThinkGeek.
